Additional round of counselling for humanities in Class XI on Sept 4

“It has been decided to hold another round of counselling for aspirants to humanities stream and around 40 seats will be accommodated in each of the 14 schools,” said an official from the education department.

The 14 schools with vacancies or where additional seats will be allotted include Govt Model Senior Secondary Schools in Sarangpur,Raipur Khurd and Karsan. The other schools are Govt Senior Secondary Schools in Dhanas,Kaimbwala,Mani Majra (Town),Mauli Jagran,Khuda Ali Sher,Khuda Lahora,Maloya,Behlana,Sector 38 west,and Sector 45. Also included is the Govt Girls Senior Secondary School in Sector 23.

School-wise vacant seats under humanities stream will be available on the website of the Education Department on September 3 and on the notice board of the 14 schools.

The candidates who could not get admission in any of the three rounds of counselling are required to report for allotment of seat in the respective schools on September 4 at 9 am,with an application written on a white paper. The application should indicate the student’s name,father’s name,form number,CGPA,category of reservation,Class X roll number,name of the school and stream where a candidate wants to take admission,mobile number and signature of the candidate.

The applicant is also required to attach the original and photocopy of Class X marksheet,character certificate and category certificate,if any. Eligibility criteria,procedure for preparation of merit,allotment of seats and other details as mentioned in the prospectus will remain the same.

No application for change of school or stream will be entertained in this counselling.
