Headless, limbless body found in gunny bag

Efforts are on to find the head and the remaining parts of the body.

The torso of an unidentified man around 35 years of age turned up in a gunny bag Thursday morning next to the railway track in Shampur near DJ Halli. Police said passersby found the blood-stained bag and called police around 10 am. “When we opened it, we found the body of a man with the head, legs and arms chopped off. We suspect he may have been killed two days ago,” DJ Halli police said. The body has been sent to Dr BR Ambedkar Medical College Hospital and efforts are on to find the head and the remaining parts of the body. With no clothes or documents found on the body, police will find it difficult to identify the victim.
