Odisha man held with marijuana in Ahmedabad

According to the FIR filed at the Ahmedabad railway police station, Lingaraj Kanhar, 23, a farmer from Odisha's Kandhamal district was caught with 7 kg of marijuana worth Rs 71,220 on suspicion by the railway station police.

A 23-year-old man from Odisha was arrested on Thursday evening with 7 kg of marijuana at Ahmedabad railway station.

According to the FIR filed at the Ahmedabad railway police station, Lingaraj Kanhar, 23, a farmer from Odisha’s Kandhamal district was caught with 7 kg of marijuana worth Rs 71,220 on suspicion by the railway station police.

According to the investigation officer at the Sabarmati railway police station Jagdish Gadhvi, “We are still investigating the case, and have got a remand for three days on Friday afternoon after the accused was produced in a local court.

Kanhar had come to deliver the package to some unknown person and he was supposed to drop the package at some unknown site.
