During the inaugural address for a startup conclave in Gandhinagar’s Mahatma Mandir on Tuesday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah candidly admitted his ignorance. He shared that till the time the senior government officials invited him for the event, he was not aware about Gujarat’s role and position in the startup sector.

“I did not know that over the past four years, Gujarat has led the startup sector, ranking first nationwide. Guided by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision, Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, along with his team of ministers and government officials, has positioned Gujarat as a centre of the startup revolution”.
