Four arrested for possessing fake currency in Vadodara

The Karelibaug police caught them handing over the fake notes to some vendors,who informed the police.

Four persons Mohammad Bilal Sameem Sayyed,Mohammad Jakir Mohammed Arif Shaikh,Zulfikar Mohammad Qadim Shaikh and Jamal Avtaar Rafimuddin found in possession of fake notes,were arrested outside Ratri Bazaar in Vadodara late on Saturday night. The Karelibaug police caught them handing over the fake notes to some vendors,who informed the police. Police have sought custody of the accused persons from a local court on Sunday evening to investigate their possible connection to a gang involved in counterfeiting notes. In their statement,the vendors said the accused used a printer to photocopy notes.
