Ahmedabad’s Nirma varsity confers degrees on 2,780 students

A total of 66 medals were awarded to 56 students, including 30 women and 26 men, recognising their exceptional academic performance.

Nirma University, Ahmedabad, conferred degrees on 2,780 students, including 1,884 undergraduate, 861 postgraduate, and 35 doctoral students, at its 33rd annual convocation on Friday. Among the graduates, 1,799 were male and 981 were female.

A total of 66 medals were awarded to 56 students, including 30 women and 26 men, recognising their exceptional academic performance.
In his address, Sanjib Kumar Behera, Executive Director and State Head of Indian Oil Corporation Limited, advised students to “stay curious, keep learning, and use knowledge to contribute to society and build a better future.”

Karsanbhai K Patel, President of Nirma University, presided over the event and emphasised the importance of continuous learning, adaptability, and values like responsibility, humility, and hard work.
