Mahindra launches entry-level Scorpio at Rs 7.59 lakh

As per ARAI standards,the vehicle will give a mileage of 14 km per litre,the firm claimed.

Auto maker Mahindra & Mahindra on Tuesday launched the entry-level variant of its sports utility vehicle Scorpio,priced at Rs 7.59 lakh (ex-showroom,Delhi).

The new variant,Scorpio Ex,will be powered by a 2.5 litre diesel engine,Mahindra & Mahindra (M&M) said in a statement.

“An unmitigated success in the SUV segment since its launch,the Scorpio has kept up its momentum with constant up-gradations and new offerings.

“I am sure that the Scorpio Ex will be an instant hit with young customers looking for an affordable entry point into the Scorpio franchise,” M&M Senior Vice President (Marketing,Automotive Division) Vivek Nayer said.
