GoAir announces discounted fares starting at Rs 999

GoAir, a budget carrier, on Saturday announced a promotional offer under which fares start as low as Rs 999. The offer is valid for travel between January 27 and April 14, 2016. The booking dates run from June 26- 30, 2015.

In another offer, for passengers wishing to travel between July 1 and September 30, 2015, GoAir offers fares starting at Rs 1,299. The booking date for this offer too ends on June 30, 2015.

GoAir’s offer is yet another flash sale by an airline in a market that has been increasingly competitive over the years. Over the past few weeks, SpiceJet, Jet Airways and Indigo all had announced promotional offers. The period starting from July till September is considered a lean phase in airline markets.
