Cadila Healthcare has signed a collaborative drug discovery and development deal with Eli Lilly.

Cadila Healthcare said on Monday its Zydus Cadila has signed a collaborative drug discovery and development deal with US-based Eli Lilly to develop drugs for cardiovascular diseases.

Under the deal,Zydus could receive up to $300 million in potential milestone payments and royalties from sales of a drug developed from the collaboration,the Indian firm said in a statement.
