
Adani Enterprises on Thursday announced that its consolidated net profit for the March quarter jumped 137.5 per cent to Rs 722.48 crore. The company’s net profit for the same quarter last year stood at Rs 304.32 crore.
In a filing with the stock exchanges, Adani Enterprises said its revenue from operations jumped 26 per cent to Rs 31,346.05 crore in Q4FY23, as against Rs 24,865.52 crore in the same quarter last year.
Adani Enterprises also announced a dividend of Rs 1.20 per equity share. It said, “The Board has recommended Dividend of Rs. 1.20 (@ 120%) per Equity Share of face value of Re. 1 each fully paid up for the Financial Year 2022- 23, subject to approval by shareholders of the Company.”
The Adani group firm also announced that the Board has approved the reappointment of Gautam Adani as an Executive Chairman of the company for a further period of five years, with effect from December 1, 2023. His present term expires on November 30, 2023.
Adani Enterprises’ shares jumped as much as 5 per cent after the company announced its quarterly results. It ended 3.85 per cent higher to close at Rs 1909.30 on BSE.
The company’s net profit in FY23 jumped 207.4 per cent to Rs 2,421.6 crore, as compared to Rs 787.7 crore in FY22.
