An unique motor vehicle number plate in Dubai has been sold for a whopping USD 408,391 at an auction here. “The sale,which was the agency’s 72nd,attracted the highest bid,with the licence plate K 50,” emirates Roads and Transport Authority said in a statement. The second most popular plate of the day I 26 sold for USD 350,000 (1.3 million dirhams),followed by the plate G-36,which fetched a price of USD 310000 (1.14 million dirhams). About 67 bidders attended the event,the authority said. The next auction will be held in September.
