Global IT consulting firm,IBM,has bagged a deal from the Andhra Pradesh Grameena Vikas Bank (APGVB) to enhance the rural bank’s information infrastructure across 530 branches.
APGVB,sponsored by the State Bank of India,will use IBM’s hardware platform to run its mission critical core banking application for data protection at all hours,the company said in a press release.

We will continue to support their endeavors and enable their ongoing operations and future expansion programs,” IBM India/ South Asia,Vice President,General Business,Systems and Technology Group,Ajay Mittal,said.
