UP Floods: Varanasi, Ballia, Ayodhya Hit Hard As Rivers Overflow; People Raise Health Concerns

UP Floods: Flood fury has gripped Uttar Pradesh as 24 districts are reeling under water after three days of relentless rain. Rivers like the Ganga, Yamuna, Ghagra, and Sharda have crossed the danger mark, submerging homes, farms, and roads. From Ballia to Ayodhya, Varanasi to Prayagraj, thousands have been displaced. Boats are now the only mode of transport in several flooded villages. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has taken stock of the situation through an aerial survey. Relief efforts are underway, with 377 camps, 901 medical teams, and widespread distribution of chlorine tablets and ORS to prevent disease outbreaks.
