Murder of Uzbek Nationals: Victim's Sister Questions Police Investigation

Holed up in a two-room apartment near the bustling Lajpat Nagar market, three women find themselves in the midst of a lonely lost battle. Shokhista Shukurova, mother of murdered 28-year-old Uzbek national Shakhnoza, and her two other daughters pore over documents, call records and sundry other papers hopelessly looking for clues to find either Shakhnoza or her killers. Even as they shuttle between the Embassy of Uzbekistan and police stations in the national capital, submitting petitions and recording statements, a part of them still believes Shakhnoza will show up one day.  See more
