'Confused' BJP rightly sent back from Malda: Congress

New Delhi, Jan 11 (ANI): Supporting the West Bengal Government for sending back the three-member fact-finding committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) from the violence-hit area in Kaliachak, the Congress Party on Monday said the state government has rightly done so in order to maintain peace. Congress leader P.L. Punia said that if a political party tries to intervene and create chaos, then it is the responsibility of the state government to send them back. Echoing similar sentiments, Congress leader P.C. Chacko said that the BJP has already got facts about the Malda rampage, but they formed the committee, which showed their confusion. Chacko also added that the state government had failed in the matter and said that it was the responsibility of the state government to control such incidents.
