Both the telecom companies have been data packs that range from as low as Rs 149. Let us take a look at the top data offers from Airtel and Reliance Jio. Recharging with Rs 495 will give Airtel's new customers 84GB of data for 84 days. Remember that is one-time recharge offer and FUP (Fair Usage Policy) is 1GB per day.
In comparsion, Reliance Jio users can spend a little more to get 112GB data at 2GB per day for 56 days.
Airtel's Rs 399 plan gives 1GB data per day to 4G handset users for 28 days. Data offering goes up to 1.25GB for non-4G handset users.
Reliance Jio has also has a Rs 399 plan, though with a longer validity period. Jio gives 1GB data per day for 84 days.
Airtel users will get a total of 28GB data if they recharge with Rs 349. FUP is 1GB data per day.
Reliance Jio, on the other hand, offers the same Rs 349 plan with a longer validity of 56 days. Data offered is 20GB, which is less when compared to Airtel's Rs 349 plan. There's no FUP, which means people can spend the entire 20GB data in one day if they wish to.
Airtel's Rs 149 plan is one of the most affordable of the ones we've listed. It gives 300MB of data to 4G handset users, and 50MB to non-4G handset users. Validity is 28 days.
Coming to Reliance Jio, it gives much more data (2GB) for the same 28 days validity period. SMS limit for this plan is 300.
