Lenovo has launched the new Vibe P1 and the Vibe P1m smartphone with extra large batteries of 5000 and 4000 mAh respectively. Both phones are Flipkart exclusive devices. (Source: Nandagopal Rajan)
The Lenovo Vibe P1 and Lenovo Vibe P1M are priced at Rs 15,999 and Rs 7999 respectively. The Vibe P1 goes on sale on October 27, while P1m sale starts October 28.
Vibe P1 has 13 mp rear camera, 5 mp front camera, a fingerprint sensor and runs Android 5.1.1.
Vibe P1m meanwhile has a 5-inch HD screen, with 2GB RAM, 16GB storage space. The processor is a quad-core Mediatek MT6735P. It has an 8MP rear camera and a 5mp front camera.
Lenovo Vibe P1m will be sold via flash sale model. Users will have to register on Flipkart to buy the smartphone,
Vibe P1 has a metallic and glass design with an aluminium frame which is only 4mm on the sides. It has a curved rear metallic cover.
Lenovo also says that the OTG changing will let users charge other devices using the large battery of the two phones.
Rocketing charging feature is however available only on the Vibe P1, which gives the phone a 10 battery life with just under 10 minutes of charge, claims Lenovo.
The phones will come with a 24v charger which can charge up to 2000 mAh in under 30 minutes.
The charger is intelligent enough to switch to 12v if plugged on to a regular smartphone.
The new phones have a toggle switch on the side to start the battery saver mode.
Both phones do not look like devices with large batteries inside, nor do they feel heavy.
