Bollywood actor Vishal Thakkar has been booked for allegedly raping a television actress.
The victim, an actress who has worked in several TV serials, has alleged that the accused raped her in his house.
Thakkar has done small roles in movies like Tango Charlie and Chandni Bar.
Sanjay Dutt
Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt is currently in jail for illegal possession of arms during the 1993 Mumbai bomb blasts case. Since May 2013, Sanjay Dutt has been serving the remaining 42 months of his five-year sentence for illegal possession of arms in a case related to the 1993 serial blasts, in which over 250 people were killed and several wounded.
Salman Khan
Bollywood superstar Salman Khan was convicted by a sessions court on May 6,2015 and sentenced to five years imprisonment on various counts, including 'culpable homicide not amounting to murder'. A man was killed and four others were injured when the actor's Toyota Land Cruiser ran over them while they were asleep on a pavement outside a bakery in suburban Bandra on September 28, 2002. The HC had on May 8 stayed the execution of the five-year sentence awarded to Salman in the 13-year-old case and granted him bail while admitting his appeal.
Rahat Fateh Ali Khan
Pakistani singer Rahat Fateh Ali Khan was recently questioned by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in New Delhi in a case of alleged forex violation, officials said. The case pertains to the probe agency's FEMA investigation against him and his associates in 2014 after the Directorate of Revenue Intelligence (DRI), in 2011, intercepted Rahat and his manager, Marrouf Ali Khan, at the Indira Gandhi International Airport for allegedly carrying an undeclared amount of $124,000 and some other instruments in foreign currency.
Sukhbir Singh
Punjabi pop singer Sukhbir Singh, who is based in Dubai, was reportedly held up at the Lahore airport after he was found to be carrying $27,000, in excess of permissible limits.
However, his family that lives in Bhogpur near Kapurthala, India denied that 'anything objectionable' was found on the singer at the airport.

Fardeen Khan
In 2001, actor Fardeen Khan was arrested for alleged possession of cocaine. He underwent a detoxification course at the state-run hospital and filed an application seeking immunity in the case, which was granted in March, 2012.
Rahul Mahajan
After his father BJP leader, Pramod Mahajan’s death, Rahul Mahajan was hospitalised after an alleged cocaine overdose in 2006. He is said to have imbibed a cocktail of drugs along with champagne. Rahul was also charged for the sale, purchase and consumption of drugs.
Apoorva Agnihotri and Shilpa Agnihotri
TV actors Apoorva Agnihotri and his wife Shilpa Agnihotri, who last appeared together in the celebrity reality show 'Bigg Boss 7', were caught at a rave party in the year 2013. They were accused of consuming drugs. Shilpa and Apoorva were also chargesheeted.
Vijay Raaz
Bollywood actor Vijay Raaz was arrested at Abu Dhabi airport in February 2005 for possession of drugs. Raaz was shooting for Hindi film 'Diwaane Hue Paagal' directed by Vikram Bhatt at that time.
DJ Aqeel, who is married to Sussanne Roshan's sister and jewellery designer Farah Khan Ali was arrested in Dubai in 2010 for carrying the party drug ecstasy. Aqeel was released a few days later after authorities failed to prove that he had consumed the drug.
Inder Kumar
Bollywood actor Inder Kumar Saraf was arrested for allegedly raping and assaulting a 23-year-old model after luring her with a promise of getting roles in films. Thr actor, who was arrested under sections 376 (rape), 324 (causing grievous hurt) and 506 (criminal intimidation) of the Indian Penal Code on April 25, 2014, has been out on bail.
Monica Bedi
In September 2002, Monica Bedi, famous as underworld don Abu Salem's girlfriend, was arrested for entering Portugal on forged documents. In 2006, an Indian Court convicted Monica Bedi for procuring a passport on a fictitious name. In November 2010, the Supreme Court of India upheld her conviction but reduced the jail term to the period that she had already served. She is currently working in TV serials.
Ankit Tiwari
: Bollywood playback singer and music composer Ankit Tiwari was arrested in May 2014 for allegedly raping his girlfriend, while his brother was booked on complaint of making threats to her life. Ankit Tiwari (24), known for his songs in Aashiqui 2, was booked under rape charges after a 28-year-old advertising professional approached the Versova police station alleging rape. In her complaint, the woman has said the singer raped her on many occasions since July 2013 after promising marriage. The actor is currently out on bail.
Sooraj Pancholi
Actor Sooraj Pancholi, who is going to debut in Bollywood with 'Hero', was charged with abetting the suicide of actress girlfriend Jiah Khan based on an alleged physical confrontation between the two on the day before her death on June 3, 2013, a break-up bouquet that he sent her. The notes in which Jiah referred to her tumultuous relationship and frustration over her career, have been taken as her suicide note.
