Arun Vijay starrer Mafia has become the latest film to fall prey to notorious piracy website Tamilrockers.
The Karthick Naren directorial has Priya Bhavani Shankar as its female lead and Prasanna in a negative role. Mafia is Karthick Naren’s third film after his directorial debut Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru and Naragasooran. He made his first movie in 2016. His second outing Naragasooran, however, is in limbo for about two years now.
Arun Vijay was last seen in Prabhas and Shraddha Kapoor starrer Saaho.
While Jakes Bejoy has composed the music for Mafia, Gokul Benoy has handled the camera. Lyca Productions has bankrolled Mafia.
Tamilrockers has been a troublemaker for film and TV production companies for a few years now. Interventions by law enforcement agencies and courts have not managed to stop it.
Tamilrockers keeps changing its domain extension every single time, so it is hard to block every extension it comes up with. Even the blocked URLs can be accessed through proxy servers.
