Bollywood superstar Kangana Ranaut is a self-made superstar. Despite various controversies surrounding her, she sits pretty on the throne of Bollywood after delivering successful films such as ‘Tanu Weds Manu Returns’, ‘Queen’ and ‘Tanu Weds Manu'. Recently her film, 'Simran' scored fairly well at the box office, while it was competing against Farhan Akhtar's 'Lucknow Central'. Although critics had panned 'Simran' they were extremely impressed with Kangana Ranaut's performance. In 'Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi', Kangana Ranaut will be playing the role of Rani Laxmibai. Kangana Ranaut along with her team had arrived at Rajasthan, in the city of Jaipur to shoot some scenes. For various reasons, Rajasthan has dominated the pages of Indian history, however, the life of Rani Laxmibai originated, and have it's concentration in the state of Uttar Pradesh.
