The penultimate episode of Game of Thrones' final season featured epic action and some major character deaths. Varys, Cersei Lannister, Jaime Lannister, Euron Greyjoy, the Hound and the Mountain all perished. HBO has released post-episode stills from the episode titled The Bells. As the finale approaches, the struggle for the Iron Throne has reached the ultimate stage. It is looking like Daenerys Targaryen vs Jon Snow, but we think the showrunners might end up surprising us and somebody else will be crowned instead (maybe Sansa?) When he saw defeat staring in his face, he wanted to burn down King's Landing instead of letting Robert Baratheon have it. It is fitting that what the father wanted to do, the daughter is finishing. Daenerys Targaryen is now the Mad Queen. She now does not care who dies, as long as she keeps the throne. We have seen the signs for a long time. All it takes for somebody to get mad is one bad day, Alan Moore wrote in his controversial graphic novel, The Killing Joke, and Daenerys' bad day was when Rhageal, her dragon, and her best friend Missandei, were killed.
