Ex-couple Ranvir Shorey and Konkona Sen Sharma reunited for the lanuch of actress' directorial debut 'A Death in The Gunj' in Mumbai on Tuesday (January 5). The film has Ranvir Shorey, Vikrant Massey, Kalki Koechlin, Tanuja Mukherjee and veteran actor Om Puri. The film's first look along with the production house MacGuffin Picture were unveiled by lyricist Gulzar and director Vishal Bhardwaj.

Konkona Sen Sharma looked elated at the launch as she posed for the shutterbugs. This is the second time that the actress has teamed up with her 'Nayantara's Necklace' co-actors Tilottama and Gulshan. At the launch, she said: "Honestly, I never wanted to be an actor either and I never thought I want to be a director. But it's just that this particular story fascinated me for so long, a story that's been with me for so long...I didn't think I would write a script either." (Source: Photo by Varinder Chawla)
Actor Ranvir Shorey, who will also be seen in a pivotal role in the film at the launch function. Ranvir said he can't say no to her as she's the mother of his child. "I told Konkona not to cast me in the film, but she insisted. Now when a director is insisting that to do it, and especially when she is my child's mother, how could I say no to her," Shorey said at the launch of production company Macguffin Pictures. Konkona poses with veteran actress Tanuja. Tanuja's daughter and ace actress Kajol was recently seen romancing Shah Rukh Khan in 'Dilwale'.

Actress Tillotama, the protagonist in Konkona's film, was pretty in orange and blue. Tillotama had said, "I’m playing a character called Bonnie. Gulshan Devaiah and I are a couple. I guess the universe heard our mutual desire to work together. I am really elated to be a part of this film and an ensemble of such wonderful actors.
