Tamasha's box office collections are soaring with each passing day and the Deepika Padukone, Ranbir Kapoor movie has collected Rs 50 crore today (December 23). ‘Tamasha’s first weekend numbers at the box office were very good. The film earned Fri 10.94 cr, Sat 13.17 cr, Sun 14.12 cr, Mon 5.07 cr, Tue 4.07 cr, Wed 3.32 cr. Total: ₹ 50.69 cr.
A steady rise has been witnessed in Tamasha's collections each day at the box office.
On the first day of its release, ‘Tamasha’ earned Rs. 10.94 cr, it made Rs. 13.17 cr on the second day and the collections were even higher on day three, which were Rs. 14.12 cr. In all, the film has made Rs. 38.23 cr until now.
Releasing two weeks after Salman Khan’s superhit ‘Prem Ratan Dhan Payo’, ‘Tamasha’ makers seem to have chosen the right slot for its release.
Having brought former real life couple Deepika and Ranbir back onscreen after a gap of two years, Imtiaz Ali film has proved that this is going to be another evergreen couple after Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol which will keep spreading its magic each time they are seen together.
The movie has extensively been shot in Corsica, Delhi and Mumbai.
