Trump attacks Taylor Swift again: ‘She’s no longer hot’

The US President's comment marks a fresh event in the ongoing hostility between the two, which escalated after Swift endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for the 2024 presidential race.

US President Donald Trump has reignited his public feud with Taylor Swift, claiming in a Truth Social post on Friday that the singer is “no longer hot” since he declared his hatred for her. “Has anyone noticed that, since I said ‘I HATE TAYLOR SWIFT,’ she’s no longer ‘HOT?’” Trump posted.

The comment marks a fresh event in the ongoing hostility between the two, which escalated after Swift endorsed Kamala Harris and Tim Walz for the 2024 presidential race. “I will be casting my vote for Kamala Harris and Tim Walz in the 2024 Presidential Election,” Swift had posted on Instagram following the first and only debate between Trump and Harris.

Previous digs

Swift has been vocal about her disapproval of Trump for years.

In 2019, she accused him of treating the presidency like an “autocracy.” In 2020, she condemned his remarks during protests after George Floyd’s death, tweeting: “After stoking the fires of white supremacy and racism your entire presidency, you have the nerve to feign moral superiority before threatening violence? ‘When the looting starts the shooting starts’??? We will vote you out in November.”

Following her 2024 endorsement of Harris, Trump told Fox & Friends: “I’m not a Taylor Swift fan… She seems to always endorse a Democrat, and she’ll probably pay a price for it in the marketplace.”

Trump also took a jab at Swift during the 2025 Super Bowl, where she was seen supporting her partner, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce. Some fans booed when she appeared on the jumbotron. “The only one that had a tougher night than the Kansas City Chiefs was Taylor Swift. She got BOOED out of the Stadium. MAGA is very unforgiving!” Trump posted on Truth Social afterward.

Bruce Springsteen also targeted

Just minutes after attacking Swift, Trump shifted his attention to rock icon Bruce Springsteen, who had criticised Trump’s administration during a concert in Manchester.

“I see that Highly Overrated Bruce Springsteen goes to a Foreign Country to speak badly about the President of the United States,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “Never liked him, never liked his music, or his Radical Left Politics… he’s not a talented guy — Just a pushy, obnoxious JERK,” he added.
