Sony celebrates 30 years of PlayStation with PSOne themed PS5 and PS 5 Pro

Sony recently announced limited edition PSOne themed PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro as part of its 30th Anniversary collection.

The company says the limited edition console and accessories all come in the classic PlayStation grey and have the retro multicoloured PlayStation logo.

The PlayStation 5 Pro bundle includes the console with 2TB storage and even has matching limited edition accessories like the DualSense wireless controller, DualSense Edge wireless controller, DualSense Charging Station and a Console Cover for a Disc Drive, which you will still have to purchase separately.

The 30th Anniversary package also includes a vertical stand and a bunch of special collector items like an original PlayStation controller-style cable connector housing, 4 PlayStation shapes cable ties, a PlayStation sticker, PlayStation paperclip and a limited edition PlayStation poster.

As for the PlayStation 5 Digital Edition 30th Anniversary bundle, you get the PSOne themed console along with all the other goodies.

Sony also unveiled a limited edition PlayStation Portal Remote Player and DualSense Edge Wireless controller, both of which can be purchased separately.

The PlayStation 30th Anniversary Collection will be available on November 21, Sony says the PlayStation 5 Pro bundle will have only 12,300. While the company did not reveal the price for any items in the collection, pre-orders for the console and accessories will go live on September 26 on PlayStation Direct.
