Top Indian squash player Saurav Ghosal lost to former junior world champion Diego Elias of Peru 8-11, 6-11, 9-11 in the second round of the Qatar Classic, a major PSA world tour event in Doha on Tuesday.

Twice earlier, the last more than a year ago, Ghosal had the upper hand over the Peruvian and won on both the occasions.

But the young Peruvian, not even 21 years but currently ranked at a career high 15, showed a steady approach to beat the Indian, who had come into the main round as a qualifier.
