Navjot Sidhu, Harbhajan recalled
Indian cricket selectors retained Mohammad Azharuddin at the helm with Ajay Jadeja as his deputy while recalling opener Navjot Singh Sidhu, off-spinner Harbhajan Singh and seamer Debashish Mohanty for the Test series against New Zealand in December. Robin Singh and Nikhil Chopra did not find favour with the selection committee for a place in the 15-member squad.

Athletic team
The Amateur Athletics Federation of India today announced a list of 27 athletes who will represent India in the Bangkok Asian Games. The squad has 14 female and 13 male athletes. P.T. Usha will compete in the 200m as well as the 400m at Bangkok.

Harbhajan’s woes
