CHANDIGARH, June 17: Haryana Governor Mahabir Prasad administered the oath of office and secrecy to a journalist for a Hindi daily, Narendra Vidyalankar, as a member of Haryana Public Service Commission (HPSC) at Haryana Raj Bhawan, here today.

Singh, having 17 years of experience as a journalist, was at present working with a Hindi daily, Jansatta. Singh, who also graduated in law, hailed from village Dhanauri in Jind district of Haryana. Earlier, another Journalist, Gobind Thukral, had become a member of HPSC. However, he returned to active journalism after resigning from the commission.
