NASHIK, DEC 7: Search operations have been launched for the kidnappers of a six-year-old boy, who was abducted on December 4 for a ransom of Rs. 20 lakh, here.

Akshaya Hemranji, was kidnapped from the Shivshaktinagar locality in Nashik two days ago. The kidnappers subsequently made several telephone calls to the boy’s parents asking them to pay up the ransom amount or face dire consequences, police sources said here today.
