Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) chief Shibu Soren is more than happy with the Coal Ministry but that’s not the end of the road for him. ‘‘Naturally, I am the chief minister candidate. I don’t say this…the public does,’’ he says, sitting in his South Avenue apartment.
Soren maintains that the same alliance of JMM, Congress, RJD and CPI will fight the BJP in the Assembly elections in February. Formal talks between the alliance partners haven’t started yet but Soren indicates, even at this stage, that there is no dispute about the JMM leading the alliance in the Assembly elections.
