More than 4,000 members of Sikh jathas who had gone to Pakistan to celebrate the 539th birth anniversary of Guru Nanak Dev today returned home through Samjhauta Express.
They said the Pakistan government has promised that work on Kartarpur corridor would begin soon. Jatha leader and SGPC executive member Gurbachan Singh Karmowali said they had raised the matter during their meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Yusuf Raza Gilani, and he said the Pak government was ready for on the corridor.
