NEW DELHI, FEBRUARY 7: Striker IM Vijayan has been named the All India Football Federation’s player of 1999 in the general body meeting which concluded here on Sunday. Vijayan received the award for his performance in the Asia Cup qualifiers in Abu Dhabi. The AIFF also decided to accord a special reception to the Indian stars and will propose Sailen Manna’s name for the Player of the Millennium title.
