CHANDIGARH, OCT 11: Accountant General, Himachal Pradesh outplayed AG West Bengal 25-20, 20-25, 25-18, 25-22, in a well-contest match on the opening day of the All-India Audit and Accounts Inter-Zonal volleyball tournament at the Sector 7 Sports Complex, here today.
In another match AG Kerala spikers combined well to score a 25-17, 25-12, 25-21 win over AG Maharashtra.
AG Karanataka also scored 25-14, 25-14, 25-11 win over AG Madhya Pradesh to assert their supremacy in the meet.
AG Uttar Pradesh also prevailed over AG Orissa 24-23, 25-23, 25-19.
Eight teams from four zones are participating in the tournament.
Earlier, the meet was declared open by KR Lakhanpal, principal secretary, Punjab.
