The ongoing battle between the Council of Architecture (CoA) and the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has moved to the judicial forum with the Madras High Court staying an AICTE notification taking over the powers to regulate architectural education in the country. The court granted the interim injunction while admitting petitions filed by the Indian Institute of Architects (Tamil Nadu chapter) and two others.
