The CBI today arrested former Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Ajit Jogi’s son, Amit Jogi, for his alleged involvement in the murder of NCP leader Ram Avtar Jaggi two years ago.
Accompanied by a lawyer, 27-year-old Amit was questioned by CBI officials for five hours today before he was placed under arrest. He has been charged with murder and criminal conspiracy.

Amit, who had failed to appear before the CBI earlier, would be produced before a court for a transit remand tomorrow. The Cbi has so far arrested 14 people for the murder. Some of them include NSUI office-bearers, considered close to Amit Jogi.
