Taking the Amarnath land row stir to the national capital, senior BJP leader L K Advani would lead party cadres in performing the ‘Shiv Aradhana’ rituals on a fabricated ice ‘Shivlinga’ on Saturday at a rally.
“The special nine feet ice ‘Shivlinga’ has been cast and Advaniji would lead more than a lakh youths in performing the rites at Ramlila Maidan on Saturday”, Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha chief Amit Thaker said.
The Yuva Kranti Rally organised by the youth wing of the party, which was initially planned to ‘expose UPA government on the price rise issue’ would now focus on Amarnnath and would be laced by slogans like ‘100 crore Hindus are forced to beg for a 100 acre land’.
The rally would be addressed by party chief Rajnath Singh and other senior leaders including Arun Jaitley and Sushma Swaraj, added Thaker.
Issues like ‘destruction’ of democratic values by UPA, terror attacks and the government’s soft approach towards terror and continuing price rise would be other important issues to be raised at the rally, he added.
