Rhea Singha, a 19-year-old from Gujarat, beat 51 finalists to be crowned Miss Universe India 2024. She will now represent the country at the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, to be held in Mexico in November.
The model and aspiring entrepreneur calls herself a fitness enthusiast and “chooses foods that are not only healthy but also compassionate.” According to Miss Universe India, Rhea is the Ambassador at Large of GLS University, where she is pursuing her Bachelor of Performing Arts. Her initiative, Work Ready with Rhea, is aimed at upskilling the youth.
After being crowned the winner, Singha gave a heartwarming speech: “Today I won the title of Miss Universe India 2024. I am so thankful. I have done so much work to get to this level where I can consider myself worthy enough for this crown. I am so inspired by the previous winners,” ANI reported.
For the finale, Singha wore a pale pink figure-hugging gown with silver embellishments lining the border of her neckline. The satin bows wrapped around her elbows added a touch of drama and elegance to her night outfit. Soft glam makeup, pink lips, bouncy loose waves, and a radiant smile completed her look.
Model actor Urvashi Rauleta, who won the Miss Universe India title in 2015, was also a judge and shared hopes of India bagging the Miss Universe crown this year. “The winners are mind-blowing. They will represent our country very well in Miss Universe, and I am hopeful India will win the Miss Universe crown again this year. All the girls have been hardworking, talented, and extremely beautiful,” the former beauty queen shared with ANI in a media byte.
Pranjal Priya took home the first runner-up title, while Chhavi Verg was the second runner-up at the pageant held in Jaipur.
