A group of Shiv Sena activists vandalised a theatre here screening Shahrukh Khan’s movie ‘My Name Is Khan’ and partially torn the screen.

The incident occurred around noon at Natraj Theatre here.

The Sena activists had sneaked into the theatre alongwith regular viewers,police said.

Police arrested about 30 activists and resorted to lathicharge.

The activists were lead by former MLA Gulabrao Patil and Gajanan Malpure,chief of city unit of the party.

The afternoon show of the film was held as per regular schedule. However,fewer people turned up to see the movie.

The activists were produced before the court in the evening and were granted bail,they said.
