Unedited images of poachers caught on a camera trap deployed near the Kendre village (Tillari), Dodamarg range were on Friday released by the Maharashtra forest officials.
Camera traps laid to track wildlife in Tillari forests of Sindhudurg district, had secretly photo-captured a gang of poachers armed with guns.
An investigation at village level was launched and the accused have been arrested, and were later given custody to the forest department.
One of the gang members can be seen carrying Sambar meat over his shoulders.
