The fight for the Rajasthan Cricket Association’s president’s post between Lalit Modi and Sanjay Dixit took an ugly turn with the latter lodging a complaint with the Jyoti Nagar police station here against the former.
Dixit,an IAS officer,alleged that Modi had threatened him during an extraordinary annual general body meeting.
“We have received a complaint against Modi and we are investigating the matter,” Jyoti Nagar SHO Lakhan Singh told PTI.
The high drama began when Modi announced to chair the scheduled meeting and was opposed by Dixit and his supporters.
Dixit objected to the announcement saying when the Supreme Court has appointed Justice Kasliwal as the man in-charge of the RCA elections,he should chair the AGM.
The Modi group however continued with the meeting while the Dixit group walked out to the election venue.
