Pakistan Monday released video grabs of the drone that was shot down by its security forces on June 15 and reiterated its claim that it belonged to the Indian Army. The Pakistan Inter Services Public Relations (ISPR) uploaded video grabs showing an “Indian soldier, flag, border outpost and aerial view along the Indian side”. The ISPR claimed that the drone captured the photo when it took off from India.
The Indian Army has denied Pakistan’s claim, saying that the drone is a Chinese one and that it does not import Chinese drones.

“Indian authorities denied Pakistan’s claim that it had shot down an Indian spy drone, whereas photos and videos recovered from the internal memory of the quadcopter provides irrefutable evidence that it was flown by Indian Army for reconnaissance,” said the ISPR release.
It added, “An image retrieved… proves that after the purchase of this quadcopter, it was taken inside M/S Ascom office (an Indian communication and Electronic Firm). Another pre-flight picture indicates presence of an Indian soldier…”
The release further claimed that images retrieved from the image showed an Indian flag and “full aerial view of the Indian post”. “Visuals retrieved indicate that quadcopter flew from Indian post. Initially it remained close to the LoC, kept surveilling throughout facing towards the Pakistani side and then crossed over and pictured a Pakistani post,” the release said.
