–Any printed or written notes, bits of paper, or any form of study material.
–Geometry box, pencil box, plastic pouches, pens, scales, writing pads, erasers, log tables, calculators, electronic pens, or scanners.
–Mobile phones, Bluetooth devices, earphones, microphones, pagers, health bands, cameras, or any communication devices.
–Wallets, handbags, belts, caps, watches, bracelets, or any metallic ornaments.
–Any food items (opened or packed) and water bottles.
Any other item that could be used for unfair means, including microchips or hidden communication devices. Possession of any of these items can lead to disqualification and cancellation of candidature.
The NTA has prescribed a strict NEET UG 2025 dress code to maintain exam integrity and facilitate smooth security checks:
–Clothing: Candidates should wear light-colored, casual clothes with half sleeves. Heavy clothes and long sleeves are strictly prohibited.
–Footwear: Shoes are not allowed inside the exam hall. Candidates should wear slippers or sandals with low heels.
–Cultural/Religious dress: Candidates wearing customary or religious attire must report to the exam center at least one hour before the last reporting time (by 12:30 pm) to allow sufficient time for inspection and frisking.
–Accessories: Female candidates are advised not to wear brooches, flowers, badges, or jeans. Jewelry such as earrings, nose rings, pendants, and other ornamental accessories should be avoided.
–Other: Watches, bracelets, and any metallic items are not permitted.

Ahead of the NEET-UG exam scheduled to be held on Sunday, the NTA has identified 106 Telegram and 16 Instagram channels “claiming to have access” to the question paper, and has shared the details for further action with the Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C) under the Home ministry.
