NEET UG 2024: The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Raipur is the best college in Chhattisgarh for MBBS. It is in the 39th spot in the Education Ministry’s National Institutional Ranking Framework 2023 medical college rankings. 

The rank of AIIMS Raipur has seen a rise in the NIRF medical college rankings 2023. The AIIMS Raipur was ranked at the 49th spot in the NIRF 2023 medical college rankings but is placed in the 39th rank in the NIRF 2023 medical rankings. This is the second time AIIMS Raipur has bagged a spot in the NIRF rankings medical category. The institute is not ranked in the overall or research categories.

AIIMS Raipur was established in 2012. As many as 44 courses including MBBS, PG, super speciality, doctoral and other programmes in 36 streams are offered at AIIMS Raipur.

Chhattisgarh Institute of Medical Sciences, Bilaspur; Chandulal Chandrakar Memorial Medical College, Durg are also some medical colleges in Chhattisgarh. Government medical colleges in Ambikapur, Surguja, Kanker, Korba, Mahasamund, Rajnandgaon are also some of the medical colleges in the state.
