Jammu and Kashmir JKBOSE 10th, 12th Result 2025 at jkbose.nic.in: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) has announced the Class 10th, 12th board exam results for the academic session 2024–25. To access their JKBOSE HS part II provisional mark sheets, students are required to enter their roll number and registration number on the official websites — jkbose.nic.in, jkresults.nic.in.
Approximately 1.03 lakh students appeared for the exams held in February and March this year. Over 77,000 students passed, while nearly 25,000 will have to reappear in one or more subjects.
Girls outshone boys in the Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JKBOSE) Class 12 examinations, the results of which were declared on Wednesday. The overall pass percentage stood at 75%, with girls recording a significantly higher success rate of 80%, compared to 69% among boys, as per PTI.
Of the 44 top positions, an impressive 43 were secured by girls.
In the stream-wise toppers list:
Aanchal Parihar from Jammu topped the Science stream
Adiba from Srinagar secured the first position in Commerce
Areeza Javiad, also from Srinagar, led in the Arts stream
Shibra topped Home Science
The only male student among the toppers, Muazam Manzoor Sofi, secured third place in the Science stream.
As stated by Minister of School and HR Education, Kashmir, Sakina Itoo, this year, the Board released Class 10th and Class 12th JKBOSE together.
Meanwhile for JKBOSE Class 10th, the pass percentage of boys is 78.74 per cent, while that of girls is 81.24 per cent, making the overall pass percentage to 79.94 per cent. As shared by JKBOSE, of 1,45,671, students appeared, as many as 1,16,453 were passed.
The JKBOSE Class 10 and Class 12 board examinations for 2025 were held across two zones – Soft Zone and Hard Zone, keeping in mind the varied geographical and weather-related challenges of the region.
For Class 10, the exams were conducted from February 15 to March 19, 2025, in the Soft Zone, and from February 21 to March 24, 2025, in the Hard Zone. For Class 12, the Soft Zone exams took place from February 15 to March 17, 2025, while the Hard Zone exams were held from February 20 to March 20, 2025.
Students need to get at least 36 percent in each subject to pass the JKBOSE Class 12 exam. The students who failed have the opportunity to appear in the supplementary exams.
Last year, the JKBOSE Class 12 exams were held in two zones: Soft zone and Hard Zone. The result for both the zones was released on June 6.
In Soft Zone, the exams were conducted from March 6 to March 28, whereas for Hard Zone the exams were held from April 8 and May 11.
The girls with an overall pass percentage of 77 per cent had performed better than the boys with a percentage of 72 per cent. Stream wise pass percentage as per official gazette was as given below:

The overall pass percentage was 74 per cent. Around 25000 students earned distinction.
