JEE Main 2025 Day 2 Shift 1 Paper Analysis Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) has started conducting the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2025. JEE Main paper 1 or the BTech/BE paper will continue till January 30.
According to the JEE Main 2025 analysis shared by experts and feedback received from students, the session 1 day 1 morning shift exam was of ‘easy to moderate; level. The JEE Main cut-off is released after the declaration of session 2 result. Candidates who qualify the JEE Main 2025 exam are called for the counselling process.
The BE/ BTech paper is conducted in two shifts – the first shift was held from 9 am to noon and the second shift between 3 pm and 6 pm. Paper 2A (BArch), paper 2B (BPlanning) and papers 2A and 2B (BArch and BPlanning both) will be held on the second shift between 3 pm on 6.30 pm.
Candidates will have to carry their admit cards to the exam centre. The JEE Main 2025 official website to check and download the JEE Main 2025 admit card is jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates will have to use their login credentials to download and check the hall tickets or to check any other updates.
Items including instrument or geometry, pencil box, handbag, purse, any kind of paper, stationery, textual material, eatables and water, mobile phone, ear phone, microphone, pager, calculator, docupen, slide rules, log tables, camera, tape recorder and metallic item or electronic gadgets, devices will not be allowed inside the JEE Main exam centre.
– Candidates will have to carry a print out of the JEE Main 2025 admit card
– In addition to the JEE Main 2025 admit card hard copy, candidates will also have to carry a photo identity proof in original
– Candidates will have to paste a photograph on the admit card. It is better to carry two extra copies of photographs to the exam centre
– One passport size photograph will also be required to be pasted on the attendance sheet. The passport size photograph should be the same as uploaded with the online JEE Main application form
NTA has revised one exam centre in UAE. JEE Main will be held across the country in multiple centres and 15 cities outside India.
Aspirants allotted Scholars Training Institute, 902-903 Belresheed Tower, 1, NMC Healthcare Building, Buhaira Corniche, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, 4472 will now have to appear at Scholar Training Institute, 1501-1502, The First Tower, Alkhan street, Al Majaz – 3, Sharjah, United Arab Emirates, Pincode – 50001. According to NTA, the change is due to ‘unavoidable circumstances’.
The JEE Main 2025 session 1 exam is starting on January 22. The JEE Main paper 1 exam for BE and BTech will be held from January 22 to 29, while the JEE Main paper 2 for BArch and BPharm will be held on January 30.
JEE Main 2025 Session 1 Exam Day Guidelines Updates: Only after qualifying JEE Main, candidates can appear for JEE Advanced. It used to be the sole prerequisite for admission to the Indian Institutes of Technology bachelor’s programmes and is usually hosted by one of the IITs. Last year, the first session of JEE Main 2024 was conducted between January 24 and February 1, while the second JEE Main 2024 session was held between April 1 and 15.
