This year, a total of 65291 candidates appeared for group 1 exam and 64775 for group 2. However, 13969 candidates cleared the group 1 exam (21.39%), and 12053 cleared the group 2 exam (18.61%).
The passing criteria for CA Final exams is 40 per cent marks in each subject and an aggregate of 50 per cent in both or one group.
Candidates should remember that in paper 3 and 4 of foundation examination and all papers of post qualification course examination, there will not be any advance reading time.
The foundation exam of paper 1 and 2 will be conducted from 2 pm till 5 pm, and the timings for paper 3 and 4 will be 2 pm to 4 pm. The intermediate exams will be conducted from 2 pm till 5 pm. Paper 1 to 5, and paper 7 and 8 of the final exams will be conducted from 2 pm till 5 pm, and the paper 6 (elective) is scheduled from 2 pm till 6 pm.
This year, the exams will be conducted in eight overseas exam centres, namely in Abu Dhabi, Bahrain, Thimpu (Bhutan), Doha, Dubai, Kathmandu (Nepal), Kuwait and Muscat. It will be conducted in over 280 centres across India.

This year, the CA final exam was conducted in 503 exam centres, and the intermediate exam was conducted in 552 centres across the country.
This year, a total of 11.09 per cent candidates passed both groups of the final CA exams. A total of 29242 candidates had appeared for the exams, out of which 3243 passed.
Just like the final results, the intermediate exam results, too, are dominated by girls, as the first two ranks have been secured by two girls this time.
This year, girls have dominated the top ranks of ICAI CA Final results, as AIR 2 and 3 have been secured by girls.
This time, a total of 12825 candidates have qualified as Chartered Accountants.
