CBSE practical exams for winter-bound schools from November 5; others from January 1

While, the Practical Examinations/ Project/ Internal Assessment for the session 2024-25 are scheduled from January 1, 2025 for all affiliated schools in India and abroad, the same cannot be followed by winter bound schools. However, the winter bound schools are expected to remain closed during January due to the winter season.

CBSE has instructed all winter-bound schools to ensure that the marks in respect of all Practical Examinations/ Projects/ Internal Assessments shall be uploaded simultaneously from the date of the start of the practical examinations. The uploading of marks shall be completed by the last date of practical examinations. No extension of the dates shall be considered by the Board in case of a delay.

Meanwhile, CBSE will start the theory exams for classes 10 and 12 on February 15, 2024. However, a complete date sheet is awaited.
