The CBSE 2025 result for Classes 10 and 12, when announced, can be checked at cbseresults.nic.in, cbse.gov.in, results.cbse.nic.in, results.digilocker.gov.in, and the UMANG app.

CBSE Class 10 and 12 exam candidates can also check their board exam results through Interactive Voice Response System (IVRS). To check the results via voice system, students need to dial the number – 24300699 – along with the code of their area preceding the given number.

Students must note that the scorecard will be provisional. To get the original scorecard, students must collect them from their respective schools.

CBSE has made available a new feature -- the DigiLocker 6-digit security PIN, also known as ‘access codes’ -- required to access digital versions of key academic documents, including the board examination marksheet.

The board informed that it has distributed these student-wise access codes to schools through their DigiLocker school accounts. These codes must be handed to students individually to ensure secure access to their digital academic records.

The feature is part of Parinam Manjusha, CBSE’s official academic repository, developed in collaboration with the National e-Governance Division (NeGD).

The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) will announce the Maharashtra State Board Class 10 results on May 13 at 1 pm, a senior official had told The Indian Express. The MSBSHSE Class 10 result 2025 will be available for the students at the official websites- mahresult.nic.in, sscresult.mkcl.org, sscresult.mahahsscboard.in, and from results.digilocker.gov.in.

IE Education will host the SSC results. The students can register for free to view their marks.

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has issued a clarification regarding a letter dated May 2, 2025, that has been circulating widely on social media. The Board confirmed that the letter is fake and was not released by any authorised CBSE official.

If a candidate who appeared for CBSE exam secures 33 per cent marks, the student will be declared pass. If any student is not able to achieve 33 per cent marks and miss out by 01 marks or so, decision may be taken to award the grace mark(s).

CBSE generally follows step-marking in mathematics papers.

If you don’t get the final answer to a math question, you can still earn partial marks for:

– Correct use of formulas

– Correct method

– Mentioning the desired steps

Showing the steps clearly is important. If you write the formula and attempt the subsequent steps (even if you make mistakes in calculation), you could earn partial credit. However, just writing the formula will not to earn marks.

Students must note that the CBSE exam scorecards released online will be provisional. Candidates of CBSE Class 10, 12 exam are required to collect the original mark sheet from their respective schools.

For revaluation and rechecking, students will have to first apply for a photocopy of their evaluated answer book before proceeding to the next steps — verification of marks or re-evaluation. This replaces the previous system, where verification of marks came first, followed by obtaining the photocopy, and then re-evaluation.

To enhance transparency in the post-result process, the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has revised the sequence of steps students must follow when seeking redressal for their Class 10 and 12 board exam results.

As per the new guidelines, students will now be required to first apply for a photocopy of their evaluated answer book before initiating any request for verification of marks or re-evaluation.

Class 10 candidates are required to secure 33 per cent marks to pass by combining marks of both theory and internal assessment. Class 12 students are required to secure 33 per cent marks separately in theory and practical papers. If any student is not able to achieve 33% marks and miss out by 01 marks or so, decision may be taken to award the grace mark(s).

As many as 24.12 lakh CBSE Class 10 students took exams in 84 subjects, whereas 17.88 lakh Class 12 students took exams across 120 subjects.

Once the CBSE results are declared, students can log into DigiLocker using the credentials and Access Code provided. CBSE will also send DigiLocker login details to students via SMS on their registered mobile numbers. Through this platform, students will be able to download verified digital copies of their marksheets and certificates for academic and career purposes.

Step 2: Select “Login as School” and enter CBSE LOC (List of Candidates) credentials

Step 3: Click on “Download PIN File”

Step 4: Choose either Class 10 or Class 12

Step 5: Download and securely distribute the PINs to each student

The overall pass percentage last year was 93.60 per cent. The pass percentage last year increased slightly to 93.60 per cent from 93.12 per cent in 2023.
