As per reports, the topper has obtained a total of 992 marks. The second rank holder has just one mark less and has scored a total of 991 marks, followed by the third topper with 990 marks. Students should note that they need to obtain minimum 35 per cent marks to qualify.
Among the regions which did not perform well are Cuddapah with 48 per cent, Srikakulam with 55 per cent and Anantpur, 51 per cent. The least successful regions in AP intermediate 2nd year examinations were Cuddaph- 52 per cent, Srikulam- 67 per cent. As per the college wise success rate, Vijaynagar was the most successful with 80 per cent, Vellore Shrikulam- 70 per cent, Chittor- 60 per cent.
Total number of students who have passed the exams are 478621 and the overall pass percentage stands at 62 per cent. Among regions, Krishna has topped in both Intermediate first and second year exams. For the 1st year, the district students registered pass percentage at 70 per cent.
The Telangana Intermediate Advanced Supplementary examinations are scheduled to be conducted from May 14. The practical examinations will begin from May 24 and will conclude on May 28. Ethics and human values examination will be held on May 29 and environmental education exam on May 30.
As per reports, in TSBIE results, as many a 2,05,086 girls appeared for the second year regular examinations of which 1,49,091 have passed, translating to a pass percentage of 72.70. In case of boys, 60.99 per cent of the 1,90,635 who had appeared cleared the exam.

An improvement in pass percentage has been witnessed as the percentage of students in intermediate this year has increased as compared to last year. In the case of results, Madchal district has topped the same followed by Komuram Bhim district. Mahabubabad finished last with 40 percent of pass percentage. For the second year intermediate students, the pass percentage is at 67.25 per cent.
The candidates who won't eb able to qualify should not get disheartened. The board is likely to conduct the supplementary examinations in the month of June. Students securing 91 to 100 marks will be given A1 grade, 81 to 90 marks A2 grade, 71-80 marks B1 grade, 61 to 70 marks B2 grade, 51 to 60 marks C1 grade, 41-50 C2 marks grade and 35 to 40 marks D grade and below 35 marks would be fail. Last year, Minister for Human Resources Development Ganta Srinivas Rao had announced the results on April 13 at Vijayawada.
