If anyone wishes to deal with uncertainty,then nature is your teacher, said R Gopalakrishnan,executive director of Tata Sons. Gopalakrishnan was in the city on Friday to address the audience on the subject of Winning in this era of Turbulence alternative ideas.
He spoke about how Uncertainty is normal in nature and how humans have learned to adapt to it with the combination of rationality and intuitiveness.
The event was held at the College of Engineering,Pune (COEP) and was organised by Pune International Centre (PIC). The lecture was attended by various personalities and PIC trustees such as Dr Vijay Kelkar,Dilip Padgaonkar and scientist Govind Swaroop. Students from various colleges also attended the event.
Gopalakrishnan explained the concept of VUCA environment,which is Volatile,Uncertain,Complex and Ambiguous. He explained that though the concept has been derived from the US army,it is evident in everyones life.
